InkFoundry Studio is a desktop app made by ECB Studios. This policy explains what happens to your information.
The short version
- The app runs on your computer. We don't collect, see or store your projects, prompts, API keys or usage. There's no tracking, analytics or advertising in the app.
- When you use AI features, the app sends your requests directly from your computer to the services you chose, using your own account. Those services' privacy policies apply to that data.
- To check your licence, the app contacts our store's licence server about once a day, sending only your licence key and your computer's name.
What stays on your computer
- Settings in your user profile folder.
- API keys, encrypted with Windows' built-in protection (DPAPI) so they can only be read by your Windows user account.
- Your projects (images, PDFs, listings) in the folder you choose.
- An app log of recent activity, to help with troubleshooting. It never contains your API keys. It only leaves your computer if you choose to send it to us for support.
What is sent to third-party services, and only when you use the related feature

These services receive your computer's IP address, as with any internet request. Their own privacy policies explain how they handle data, for example openai.com/policies, anthropic.com/legal/privacy and replicate.com/privacy.
Buying the app
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record and handles payment, tax and licence delivery. They share with us the information needed to provide your licence and support (such as your name, email address and order details). See their privacy policy: https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
If you email us for support, we use your email and what you send only to help you, and we keep it only as long as needed.
Your choices and rights
You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app and deleting its data folder in your user profile (About & Help → Open log folder shows where it is) and your projects folder. To free a licence activation first, use About & Help → Deactivate this computer. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access or delete personal information we hold about you, which is limited to purchase and support records. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where required), and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and include the new version with the app and on our website.
